I used to love this song. Especially,when he's crying like a child.
An old song that lived through long years,though. I was a child,when my cousins were listening to this song all the time. There comes my affection to rock music,I grew up on heavy music! It's cool,really!
At that time they also used to listen to Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd,Black Sabbat, Rainbow, Accept,Scorpions....a lot!
I was-and am-crazy about Pink Floyd! It's fantastic,Mars! Especially the songs
Learning to fly
Shine on you crazy diamond
Us and them
Sorrow
Comfortably numb
Wish you were here
Waiting for the worms to come
the albums The Wall are for sure, successful!

I was inspired their music a long time ago. And I listen them now with huge pleasure.
It’s marvelous! I do adore Pink Floyd too!;)

 
"Time" is the fourth track from the English progressiv rock band Pink Floyd’s 1973 album “The dark side of the moon”, and the only song on the album credited to all four members of the band, though the lyrics were written by Roger Waters. This song is about how time can slip by, but many people do not realize it until it is too late. Roger Waters got the idea when he realized he was no longer preparing for anything in life, but was right in the middle of it. He has described this realisation taking place at ages 28 and 29 in various interviews. It is noted for its long introductory passage of clocks chiming and alarms ringing, recorded as a quadrophonic test by Alan Parsons, not specifically for the album.

Очень нравится музыка Pink Floyd,но вот с Английским вообще никак!
У меня есть книга с текстами и переводом всех их песен и ещё есть книга Николаса Шеффнера "Блюдце,полное секретов Одиссея ''Пинк Флойд"
Так сказать биография группы!Эпоха Сида Барретта и его уход из группы в следствии помутнения рассудка,пришествие Девида Гилмора,разлад в группе между Роджером Уотерсом и остальными(флойдовские войны)!Неминуемый как казалось конец группы,но всё-же выжившей благодаря в основном Гилмору!
Кто интересуется советую прочитать!

Думаю, Алина не станет возражать если и на нашем рашен:D поговорим тут - ведь об английской группе;) или даже группах...
Лично у меня всегда Битлы первыми шли(и сейчас идут) , о них и книжки читал, и на инглиш их произведения в довольно значительной степени меня сподвигли...
Но когда впервые услышал "Пинк Флойд" (стыдно признаться, но когда-то я перевел их как "Розовый флюид"))))) был поражен их музыкой!!! До сих пор изумляюсь! Еще, что удивило, так это то, что в их альбомах практически нет балласта - слушать можно от начала и до конца! Не выкинуть ни одной вещи! Класс!!!

А эту книгу при случае прочту, спасибо за совет.
